Catherine Fairweather

Catherine Fairweather is an award-winning journalist, editor, author and podcaster, and one of the founders of The Big Brue festival. Her career has spanned broadcasting, publishing and public relations, with a longstanding interest in culture, storytelling and public conversation. Now based in Somerset, she oversees the archive and work of her husband, the photographer Sir Don McCullin, whose career has shaped how generations understand conflict, poverty, landscape and human resilience. At The Big Brue, she brings a deep commitment to ideas, conversation and the cultural life of the West Country.
