Landscape designer
Catherine FitzGerald is a landscape designer and partner at Lutyens & FitzGerald, whose work brings a deep sensitivity to history, ecology and place. She has led major garden restorations at Hillsborough Castle, Holyrood Palace and Glenarm Castle, and is currently working on projects across Northern Ireland and Scotland, including rewilding on the Knoydart peninsula. She also oversees the gardens at Glin Castle, her family home in Co. Limerick, where questions of inheritance, stewardship and renewal are lived as well as designed.
