Guy Hayward
Pilgrim guide and writer
Guy Hayward is the co-founder of the British Pilgrimage Trust, a writer, pilgrim guide and sacred folk singer whose work has helped revive interest in Britain’s ancient walking routes and sacred landscapes. Through books including Britain’s Pilgrim Places, as well as guided journeys, performances and public events, he explores pilgrimage not simply as a religious act but as a way of reconnecting with landscape, memory, ritual and community. Blending folklore, spirituality, history and song, his work reimagines Britain’s old pathways as spaces for reflection, storytelling and collective experience in the modern world.
