Matt Frei is an award-winning journalist and Europe Editor and lead presenter of Channel 4 News. Over nearly four decades, he has reported from conflict zones and political centres around the world, including Jerusalem, Gaza, Kyiv and Washington, where he spent nine years as the BBC’s Washington Correspondent. He also presents a weekly programme on LBC and is the author of Only in America and Italy: The Unfinished Revolution. Known for combining eyewitness reporting with sharp analysis, Frei brings a ringside perspective to the forces reshaping global politics, media and society.
