Victoria Siddall
Cultural leader and curator
Victoria Siddall is Director of the National Portrait Gallery and one of the most influential figures in contemporary cultural leadership. Before joining the Gallery, she transformed Frieze into a major international force in the art world, overseeing its fairs, publications and expanding global reach. Her work has consistently focused on opening institutions to wider audiences while navigating questions around public space, philanthropy, ethics and cultural responsibility. At the National Portrait Gallery she has led a major new chapter for one of Britain’s most historic institutions, helping rethink how portraiture can reflect identity, power, memory and the changing story of modern Britain.
