Lindsay Skoll

Lindsay Skoll CMG is Principal of Jesus College Oxford, the first woman to hold the position in the College’s 455-year history. She previously spent 30 years in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, most recently as UK Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the UN in Vienna. Her diplomatic career also included senior postings in Moscow, the Seychelles and Pyongyang, with a particular focus on security policy and multilateral diplomacy. She was appointed Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George in 2019 for services to British foreign policy.
